    Payday

It was finally here. I squirmed in my seat in class today anxious for the teacher to be done lecturing. It was payday! The jubilation I felt walking into work today was almost unbearable! MONEY!

Not. My check was not as big as I would have liked it. Many people today probably feel the same way. I am a sales associate at a clothing store, maybe those on the west coast have heard of it. Anchor Blue? Anyways, hours are down and it sucks.

I understand. If we don't make money for the company the company can't pay us. I am in no position to complain... but I will anyways. I really hope this stimulus plan Obama has set up will help us, and fast. I hate having a whole bunch of free time and no money to do anything with. Well, besides blog I guess.

OKay well now a little on my personal life. I am going out tonight. I love the night club life. I am one of those creepy girls that sits in a corner and watches everyone... the quiet observer. I dunno if it's sick and wrond but I love to watch the whore - ish girls and the player guys dance around like they are having intercourse. I mean seriously, remove their pants and they could make a baby.

I saw something one night that scared the living tar out of me. The ULTIMATE fashion crime in my opinion. The horrific sight of it was almost too much to bear. It was *takesdeepbreath* a spandex... leopard print... tube top booty short body suit.... with metallic 5 inche heels... OMG! I know how girly I must sound right now but really?  Does nobody watch what not to wear with stacy and clinton??? There are rules out there! Social codes on what is acceptable. I would love to know how many of you think that a slutty rendition of the cartoon pussy cat's wardrobe is appropriate for ANY girl to wear outside the bedroom. Please leave me a comment.

    Religion in my View...

Okay so I had an incident while sitting in class. I am sure some of you have had the same. I never believed how akward it really is. A very nice girl sits across from me and in an exercise where we had to talk to eachother she brings up the topic of God and suddenly right in the middle of Communications class wants to save my Non-God believing soul. I am shocked and infuriated that just because I don't partake in her religion that I am automatically doomed in her eyes. I sure those who are reading this that are of different religions are very understanding. I informed her that I was a spiritual person and that if I were to choose a religion it would be Buddhism. (This is true for me)

....Well... this did not please her one bit.

"Brittney, the only way to salvation is through God."

Really? I don't believe that. I think that if you live a more meaningful and fulfilling life with the religion of YOUR choosing then the whole purpose of religion has been fulfilled. To me, religion and spirituality gives purpose to your life. I mean without some sort of hope we just get stuck on "we're going to die" and "what's the point." So why is any one religion bad? I think they are all equal. If you sat back and put them all into perspective, don't they all basically say to be a good person, don't lie to your mom, respect people, don't steal your neighbor's prized donkey? I mean really. I think it should be some sort of unspoken social code to respect another religion or lack there of religion.

What do you guys think??? I would love to hear what you think. Well that is unless you are going to tell me that your religion is the only right religion. In that case, exit my page, go to the blogrings link, type in "'insertyourreligonhere' fanatics online", press search, and talk with those people. Because I don't wanna hear anymore about how my potential Buddhism is wrong. Jeez.... lol

Like Saturday morning cartoons and Gummy bears. So whilst I was jumping on my beloved trampoline my brother was taking pictures. This is what we got. What do you think?

About Me

  • Fun, energetic, totally random, unpredictable, weird, outgoing, crazy, playful, flirtatious, funky, an individual, interesting... and so much more. I am so worth getting to know because I value life and living. Smiling is a physical form of appreciation of the living breathing world and to miss one moment by being sad about something you can't control is just not fair to yourself.
